If knowing your yarn has come from an ethical place is important to you, then we are the people to buy from. Our yarn is hand-spun on the farm using the fleece from our flock of angora goats (unless stated).
Newmoor Barn yarn is made from fleece that is sorted, washed, and dyed by hand on our small farm in Devon. We take pride in our meticulous process of hand-carding before spinning the yarn into a wide selection of options for knitting, weaving, and arts projects.
Our hand-spun and dyed yarn allows our customers to purchase different effects and textures, as well as knowing the exact combinations of wool to mohair. We also specialize in spinning yarn for doll hair. While some of our yarns are interchangeable, we have specific options designed for doll styling.
