British Greyfaced Dartmoor Carded Wool 50g Purple At Newmoor Barn in Devon we produce all of our finished fibres by hand. Our fibres are hand picked, hand washed, hand dyed and hand carded this allows us to have more control over the mixes in colour we produce. Our Grey faced Dartmoor Fleece comes from a farm local to us in Devon. The Grey faced Dartmoor although courser than some fibres has a long staple length and high lustre due to the high lanolin Content, but it does spin well. If you wish to soften it it can be spun with something softer, like alpaca. The Greyfaced Dartmoor creates some wondeful tectures when felting. Due to the mixes of this product the colours may vary slightly from shown.
